The McMaster Injury Biomechanics Laboratory is focused on experimental and numerical investigations into the mechanisms behind injury to the human body, development of accurate and comprehensive injury criteria, and translation of these to industry via the use of standard tools such as Anthropomorphic Test Devices, or 'crash test dummies'.
Located in the Engineering Technology Building, this facility has Biohazard and Research Ethics approval, Transportation of Dangerous Goods certification, and Controlled Goods Designation.
