General Research Interests:

My research team and I are involved in a number of Experimental and Computational investigations incorporating fundamental and applied research in the field of Thermal Engineering, Energy and Materials Science.

Current Research Areas:

1. Thermal Processing of Materials - experimental and numerical modeling of rapid solidification propcesses.

2. Modeling of interfacial heat transfer during metal forming operations.

3. Mechanistic modeling of jet impingement boiling heat transfer.

4. Thermal management of self-contained drive systems.

5. Integration of thermal imaging techniques in inspection systems used in manufacturing operations.

6. Integration of renewable energy sources in Net-Zero Energy Buildings (NZEBs).
